INDEPENDENT TECHNOLOGY COMMERCIALIZATION / SOUTH KOREA
We acquire rights.
We build businesses.
GODN identifies enterprise demand, secures commercialization rights to global technologies, and develops and operates their businesses in South Korea.
Independent technology
commercialization.
GODN is an independent South Korean technology commercialization company.
We pursue long-term Korean commercialization rights to selected international B2B technologies. Our purpose is to build the business around those technologies in South Korea, with direct responsibility for commercial performance and day-to-day operations.
For GODN, a commercialization right is the basis of an operating business. We intend to hold and develop these businesses over time, building a portfolio around lasting customer relationships and continuing service.
Long-term rights.
Direct operations.
Our business model combines long-term Korean commercialization rights with direct responsibility for the local business. It gives both parties a clear basis for commercial development and continuing operations.
THE PARTNERSHIP MODEL
01Commercialization rights
We seek contractual rights to commercialize selected technologies in South Korea over the long term. These rights concern the Korean business; ownership of the underlying technology remains with its owner. Each partnership defines the commercial scope and the responsibilities of both parties.
02Business operations
GODN’s role is to develop the local offering, sell it to customers and manage the business over time. This includes the commercial and customer responsibilities that continue after a sale, so the Korean business has continuity in customer relationships, delivery and support.
03GODN in South Korea
Local business development and sales, customer contracts and billing, onboarding, training and first-line support. GODN coordinates with the technology owner when an issue requires specialist product support.
04The technology owner
Core software development, product updates, security maintenance and specialist technical support. Product responsibilities and service commitments are agreed so the Korean offering can be supported consistently.
Technology partnerships
for South Korea.
We welcome discussions with international technology owners seeking a long-term commercialization partner in South Korea. GODN’s proposed role is to build and run the Korean business, from commercial development through the continuing customer relationship. The partnership is based on rights and responsibilities agreed between both parties.
Discuss a partnershipTechnology owners can keep their resources focused on their core product and its development. GODN would take on the local commercial and customer-facing responsibilities agreed for Korea, giving the partnership an operator responsible for the local business.
Understanding the
South Korean market.
Our understanding of the South Korean market informs the technologies we pursue and the businesses we choose to build. International products must meet the practical needs of local enterprise customers, alongside the language, commercial arrangements and support they expect.
GODN treats these local requirements as part of operating the Korean business. Our market intelligence supports our own commercialization decisions and discussions with technology owners, with a focus on the commercial basis for a business that can be developed over time.
Contact GODN.
